Honda CR-V 2019 Smart Key Programming by Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus

Have a Honda CR-V 2019 ID47- 433Mhz, and need to program a smart key. It’s done by Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad.

Issue:

The original key can start the car normally.

The new key not programmed cannot start the car.

The procedure:

Connect VVDI Key Tool Plus to the vehicle via the main cable

Push start button

Go to Immo Programming>> Honda>> Select by type>> Smart key system 2>> Start programming

Select Add a smart key

Turn off ignition switch, and then turn on

Read out the key number is 2

Then take all smart keys out of the car (leave the original key in the car, and put the new key outside)

Next, put a programmed smart key (the original key) inside the car

Take all smart keys out of the car again

Put the new smart keys in the car (put the original key outside)

Identifying the key

Turn off ignition switch, and then turn on

Repeat it again

Check if the indicator light is out

-Yes

Then turn off ignition switch… turn on…again

Now the key number is 3

Program smart key successfully

Finally, test the new key programmed, it works fine!

Result: Xhorse Key Tool Plus adds a smart key to Honda CR-V 2019 successfully.
