Car: 2015 Chevrolet Suburban 5.3L (L83) light duty truck
Device: Launch THINKCAR Thinkdiag OBD2 scanner
Procedures:
Plug the ThinkDiag device into OBDII port in the vehicle
Turn the ignition on
Run ThinkDiag APP, select ThinkStore->Purchased software->GM-> Automatically Search
Click YES to read VIN automatically
Read the Vehicle information successfully
There are two ways to get into reset brake pat option:
Method 1: Select Health Report
It will diagnose the all system fault code, when find the module you want, click pause to end the progress.
Method 2: Back to Functions menu, select System Selection
Choose Body Control Module (BCM) -> Read fault code->DTC Display
Read fault code successfully
Return to Functions menu to select Special Functions
Then select Brake Pedal Position Sensor Learn
Pay attention to the prompt as shown in the following picture
The commanded state is None, click Learn button
Then the state will become to Learn
Back to Functions menu to select Clear Fault Code to erase all the DTCs
Clear DTC completed
Then click Read Fault Code to check whether the fault code has cleared or not
The error of brake pedal position sensor circuit disappears.
ThinkDiag reset brake pad successfully!
